Yes, Ink Cauldron offers romantasy book cover design alongside other fantasy commissions. The studio creates artwork with a fantasy and romantasy focus for authors and readers alike.

I accept soft NSFW, however I do not do nudity or explicit poses.

Do you use AI in your artwork?

Accepted Answer

I never use AI in any part of my creative process, all my artwork is created by hand and it is stipulated in my work contracts that I do not use AI.As an anti-AI artist, I also request that clients do not upload any of my artworks to AI platforms.

What's the turnaround time?

I usually work to a waitlist which can be 1 - 2 months long. After I receive your enquiry I will confirm when I can book your slot for. Standard turnaround time once your slot has begun is 1 - 2 weeks for character art, or 4 - 6 weeks for book cover art. The length varies depending on complexity.

What does the commission process look like?

Once I've received your enquiry I will come back with any further information I need and confirm when I have availability for your project. A 50% deposit is required to book your slot. Once your slot begins, I will send you a sketch. At this stage you're welcome to ask for any changes you would like. I typically allow up to 2 rounds of revisions at this stage, beyond that further revisions may require additional payment. Once the sketch is approved, the remaining balance for your commission is payable, and then I begin work on your art! How much contact happens between sketch and finalisation depends on what you would like to see and what kind of project it is. I tend to send quite a lot of updates for book covers or complex work, while a simple bust commission may go from sketch finalisation to project completion without too much further conact. But let me know what you'd like to see - I'm happy to involve you in as much or as little of the process as you'd like!
